Job Overview:
As an SEO Intern at WebCoir, you will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of SEO and digital marketing while assisting the team in improving the search engine rankings of client websites. You will work closely with experienced SEO professionals, gaining practical insights into keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking. This internship is designed to help you develop a solid foundation in SEO and digital marketing, even if you're just starting your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Assist with identifying relevant keywords for optimization using SEO tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, etc.
- On-Page SEO: Support the team in optimizing website content, titles, meta tags, and images for better search engine visibility.
- Content Optimization: Help optimize website content, blog posts, and landing pages for SEO, ensuring they align with the best practices for rankings.
- SEO Audits: Assist in conducting website audits to find areas for improvement and help implement recommendations.
- Link Building: Help identify potential backlink opportunities and assist in outreach efforts for link building.
- SEO Reporting: Assist with gathering data from SEO tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to help prepare performance reports.
- Competitor Research: Help analyze competitors' websites to understand their SEO strategies and identify areas where we can improve.
- Learn SEO Best Practices: Keep up with the latest SEO trends, industry updates, and search engine algorithm changes.
Qualifications:
- Fresher or recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and how search engines work (e.g., keywords, SERPs, ranking factors).
- Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEMrush is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team and handle tasks independently.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web design is a bonus but not essential.
