Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and certified Workday Conversion Consultant with 3 to 6 years of experience in leading and executing full-cycle Workday data conversions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling complex data migrations, collaborating with clients on field mapping, and delivering clean, validated data to Workday environments.

This role requires strong technical expertise in ETL processes, a structured approach to data quality, and excellent communication skills to manage interactions with client stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end data conversion efforts for at least two large-scale Workday implementation projects.

  • Perform complete ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and validation.

  • Engage with client stakeholders to conduct field mapping and transformation logic discussions across various legacy HR systems.

  • Define and manage the data conversion strategy, including the number of prototypes required based on project complexity and client readiness.

  • Coordinate data loads into Workday tenant environments and support validation cycles.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for parallel testing and go-live phases.

  • Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to ensure successful integration with Workday HCM modules.

  • Maintain detailed documentation for data mapping, transformation logic, and conversion progress.


Required Skills:

  • Active Workday Certification

  • Proven experience in Workday data conversions across multiple implementations

  • Strong knowledge of ETL tools and methodologies

  • Expertise in data mapping, data cleansing, and transformation logic

  • Ability to define and manage conversion prototypes

  • Familiarity with legacy HR systems and Workday HCM data models

  • Excellent client communication and documentation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
