Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety practices, and technical documentation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components in compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and testing equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement upgrades and new installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system modifications.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, wire strippers, and conduit benders.
  • Assist with the design and planning of electrical systems for new projects.
  • Qualifications:Diploma or Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical safety codes.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid [state/national] electrical certification/license, if required.
  • Preferred Skills:Experience in [industry-specific tools, e.g., HVAC, industrial automation, solar systems, etc.]
  • Strong computer skills for maintenance tracking and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of energy management systems and practices.
  • Work Environment:May require travel to off-site locations.
  • May involve working in industrial or outdoor settings.
  • Shift work, overtime, and emergency call-outs may be required depending on business needs.
