Qualifications and skills
Education M.A degree in English Language & Literature with B+
Research PhD with specialization in one of the following areas:
- English Literature covering 5 centuries from 1550
- Linguistics / Stylistics / Literary stylistics
- ELT/ESL
- American Literature Studies
- Comparative Literature
- New Literature
- History of Literary Criticism
Experience: Over Five years of teaching experience at college / university.
Additional Skills: Medium level knowledge of Communication & soft skills
Good drafting and editing skills
Day -to-day responsibilities: Teaching English language and allied skills for Under-graduate/Graduate/ and Post-graduate programs in Humanities/ Sciences /Technology and Management.
Special focus: i) To improve proficiency levels in Communication and soft skills
ii) To inculcate enthusiasm and methodical study of research
iii) To contribute to training and placement of aspirants
iv) To clear/ pass TKT & / BEC
Academic /administrative skills: Should undertake administrative duties assigned from time to time
