Roles & Responsibilities of Data Engineer & Report Writer :


• Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources


• Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data


• Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis


• Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions


• Creating and modifying dashboards, reports, and queries

Technical Skills:

Programming Skills – Very good experience of programming languages like Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, Spark is desirable. Familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is an added advantage.


• Data Wrangling – proficiency in handling imperfections in data.


• Experience with Data Visualization Tools like Domo, Tableau, Power BI etc. that help to visually encode data


• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake will be desirable


• Excellent Communication Skills – it is incredibly important to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience.


• Hands-on experience with data science tools


• Problem-solving aptitude


• Analytical mind and great business sense


• Knowledge & exposure to Cloud technologies/environment

Qualification & experience:


• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field is preferred


• At least 3-5 years of Experience as Data Analyst.
