The environment is fast-paced and requires cross-functional interaction daily so good communication, planning and execution skills are a must.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to multitask in a quick paced environmentAbility to adapt to changing priorities and domain of activities needed to address the instantaneous needs of the team.Define tasks and create work breakdown including estimation of tasks.Work with various cross-site stakeholders to deliver commitments to meet different customer milestones.Apply knowledge of software engineering best practices.Desirable Skills and AptitudesExcellent C/C++/Python programming and software design skills, including debugging, performance analysis, and test design.Hands-on experience with C++ programming is a must-have skill.Professional work experience in embedded software, driver development, and/or systems engineering on SoCs using Linux/Android/QNX/etc..Ability to work independently, define requirements and scope, and lead your own development effort.Avid problem solver – should be able to find solutions to key engineering and domain problems.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player.Experience with Code Coverage, Code Quality Tools used in Automotive is a plus.Experience with Parasoft tool for MISRA compliance & Code Coverage is a plus.Experience with ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standard is a plus.Experience with the latest C++ standards is a plus.Experience in on-device model inference is a plusExperience in machine learning frameworks and neural network architectures is a plus.Qualifications:Bachelor's/Masters in Engineering, Machine learning/ AI, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.2 to 4 years Software Engineering or related work experience.Minimum Qualifications:•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
