Job Overview:

The Learning and Development Assistant Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programs and initiatives aimed at developing a high-performing workforce. With 12-15 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D) or related fields, the ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in talent development, instructional design, and performance improvement while working closely with senior leaders to align learning strategies with business objectives.

1. Learning Strategy & Program Development:

2. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify training needs and create learning strategies that align with organizational goals and individual career growth.

3. Design and develop comprehensive learning programs (e-learning, instructor-led, blended) across multiple departments, including leadership development, technical skills, soft skills, compliance training, etc.

4. Establish and implement learning paths for different levels of employees, with a focus on succession planning and career progression.

5. Training Delivery & Facilitation:

6. Lead and facilitate training sessions as required, ensuring content is effectively delivered to employees and addressing any questions or challenges.

7. Oversee external training vendors and ensure that third-party training resources are aligned with internal learning objectives.
8. Providing Training to In house Operator/ Staff on the products, Latest manufacturing concepts like TPM, KANBAN, Kaizen , TQM, 5S

9. Ensuring all the new hires for the successful induction and undergo basic Technical training

10. Learning Needs Analysis & Evaluation:

11. Conduct ongoing assessments and needs analyses across various functions to determine areas where learning initiatives will have the most impact.

12. Continuously evaluate training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics to measure success and suggest improvements.

13. Analyze the ROI of L&D programs and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve effectiveness.

14. Talent Development & Leadership Initiatives:

15. Drive leadership development programs to enhance managerial skills and prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles.

16. Mentor and guide junior L&D team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and best practices in learning and development.

17. Employee Engagement & Retention:

18. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization, ensuring employees have access to growth opportunities.

19. Work closely with HR partners to support the retention of top talent through skill development initiatives.

20. Learning Technology & Systems:

21. Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage, track, and report on employee training.

22. Explore and implement new learning technologies, tools, and trends to keep the training programs engaging and relevant.

23. Compliance & Regulations:

24. Ensure all learning programs comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

25. Stay current on industry trends, certification requirements, and emerging best practices in L&D.

26. Skills:

27. Strong experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.

28. Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software tools.
29. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
30. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess learning needs and measure the success of training programs.
31. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

32. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

33. Certifications: Certification in Learning & Development or other relevant certifications is a plus.
