The Opportunity:

UST is looking for Teamcenter system Administrator.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Teamcenter servers and clients on Unix/Linux operating systems. This includes managing databases, file servers, and web servers.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement performance tuning strategies to ensure system stability and responsiveness.

• Plan and execute routine maintenance tasks, including applying patches, hotfixes, and performing major version upgrades.

• Utilize the Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) to create and modify data models. Configure workflows, lifecycles, and access control lists (ACLs) to meet business requirements.

• Enforce security policies, manage user accounts, roles, and groups, and ensure the Teamcenter environment adheres to all corporate and industry security standards.

• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations with third-party systems, including CAD (e.g., Siemens NX), ERP (e.g., SAP), and other enterprise applications.

• Develop and maintain shell scripts (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python) to automate administrative tasks, data migration, and system monitoring.

• Work closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and support project initiative

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration, including command-line tools, file

system management, and shell scripting

• In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and core modules.

• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter BMIDE customization.

• Familiarity with database administration concepts (SQL, Oracle/SQL Server).

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualification:

• 5+ years of experience as a Teamcenter Administrator.
