Position : Senior Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Study project specification / documents and develop the Bills of Material for Automatic Transfer Switches.
• To execute complex Work Orders by understanding the details and complete within given timeline.
• Candidate should create and comprehend the Interconnections Drawings.
• Assists in control systems designs and in the development of control system in case of new design.
• Review and understand Project requirements and support in Manufacturing.
• Effectively plan, schedule, and manage on multiple projects with deadlines.
• To review engineering work thoroughly by capturing all issues for 100 % quality deliverables to manufacturing.
• To manage priorities and deliver different task as per schedule.
• Coordinates with BU representatives as delegated to obtain their approval on various requirements as per their needs.
• To handle complete responsibility from WO review to release manufacturing and address all the issues to ensure 100 % quality deliverables to manufacturing.
• Coordinates assigned engineering work with other team member to resolve issues and fix them on priority.
• Ensure continuous learning on product and process to keep UpToDate with latest business updates.
• Promotes the creation of a work environment, assisted by leadership, which fosters directness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Should possess good knowledge of international codes & standards like IEC, CE, UL .
• Basic knowledge of Control System, Instrumentation and Electrical System.
• Basic knowledge of Communications networks.
• Knowledge of power distribution design.
• Familiarity with Switchgear MCCB , MCB , Relays and Generators.
• Functional knowledge of Unit Control Panels, PLC, Local Operator Panel, Anti-surge and performance control system, Protection system, JBs, etc.
• Ability to work with Manager to effectively complete routine tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills that are well organized and persuasive.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
• Working knowledge with Microsoft office, AutoCAD, MS-Visio.

Qualification:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
• 8 - 10 years relevant experience in Control Panel industry is mandatory.
