Casualty Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care to patients with acute injuries and illnesses.
• Perform rapid patient assessments, diagnosis, and initial stabilization.
• Administer emergency treatments, including medications, intravenous fluids, and procedures like suturing and basic life support.
• Stabilize patients and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to medical emergencies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) with MD/DNB/MEM in Emergency Medicine from a recognized institute.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience in emergency medicine or a similar acute care setting is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a hospital environment is often required.
