About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic English Content Writer Intern to join our editorial team. The role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about writing, digital storytelling, and e-magazine publishing.

You will work closely with our editorial and creative teams to plan, research, and produce engaging written content across sports, entertainment, and current affairs for our e-magazine, website, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, plan, and write original content for e-magazines, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Track trending topics across sports, entertainment, and current affairs to pitch and develop fresh story ideas.
  • Collaborate with editors, designers, and video teams to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Support SEO-driven content efforts through keyword integration and optimization.
  • Format and publish articles using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
  • Maintain a consistent tone, voice, and style across all editorial content.
  • Contribute to editorial calendars, content schedules, and publishing plans.
  • Assist in localizing and adapting content for different audiences and regional markets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong research and storytelling abilities
  • Familiarity with content strategy and editorial planning
  • Basic understanding of SEO and keyword optimization
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot)
  • Awareness of social media trends and digital audience behaviour
  • Basic understanding of layout/design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or pursuing) in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related fields.
  • Previous writing experience (internships, blogs, campus media, etc.) preferred
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, and current affairs
