Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated CCTV & Networking Engineer to design, implement, and support surveillance systems and IT networks. The role involves planning, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, and networking infrastructure to ensure reliable security and connectivity for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

:


• Design and oversee installation of CCTV surveillance systems (IP/Analog, DVR/NVR, VMS, storage solutions).


• Plan and configure LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and network security protocols.


• Handle structured cabling (CAT6, Fiber optics) including layout design and termination.


• Maintain and optimize network performance, bandwidth allocation, and CCTV uptime.


• Provide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV, networking, and IT systems.


• Configure remote monitoring solutions (mobile, cloud, and server-based).


• Support IT infrastructure including routers, switches, servers, and Wi-Fi access points.


• Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, CCTV installations, and service records.


• Coordinate with vendors and clients for new installations and technical support.


• Stay updated with latest advancements in surveillance and IT networking technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:


• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related field.


• Proven experience in CCTV system design, installation, and troubleshooting.


• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and firewall configurations.


• Hands-on with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, etc.).


• Familiarity with Windows/Linux server administration.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and lead field teams.


• Good communication and client-handling skills.

Preferred Experience:


• 2–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV/Networking/IT roles.


• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Hikvision/Dahua certifications will be an advantage.
