Support and facilitate data enabled decision making for Novartis internal customers (Field, Home Office and Enterprise LT) by data visualization solutions and enable faster generation of insights. This role is pivotal for developing and designing data visualization products including insights dashboards, from user interface design to data visualization support for Novartis Business Stakeholders (Sales and Marketing teams and Leadership) within US Business Unit. Key Responsibility:
• Work within the US Reporting and Visualization Products team to shape and develop visualization capabilities and address evolving technology landscape to meet business and stakeholder needs
• Manage project delivery in collaboration with stakeholders & provide best practices to ensure high quality deliverables for our colleagues
• Ensures exemplary communication with all stakeholders through regular updates with focus on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes, key events, etc.
• Identifies and resolves operational, functional & technical issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations/solutions to stakeholders
• Leads capability development to raise the bar for associates in terms of domain & technology to stay abreast with evolving landscape.
• Drive adoption of BI products across various business functions & actively play role of product managementEssential Requirements for this role include:At least 8 years of experience in Pharma domain (Commercial analytics) with a focus on data modelling & visualization to create & maintain world class visualization productsExperience of creating reporting / visualization products for Field Users and Commercial Leadership teams (eg Field Reporting Solutions, Home Office and Enterprise Reporting Solutions)Should have a solid foundation of Pharma domain (commercial analytics) and its datasetsExperience of mapping Business processes & hands-on expertise in integrating various data sources and generating insights through large scale visualization productsHigh level proficiency on front-end visualization tools (Power BI)Good understanding and working knowledge of ETL/Data engineering tools (DataIKU, Alteryx etc.). Working knowledge of Excel & SQL is also a prerequisite.Excellent team player with proven track record of large-scale Project management & adding value to the stakeholdersProject management and ability to delivery independently with less oversight. Should be able to guide data and visualization analysts in the team for deliveryGood presentation skills, story-telling and Interpersonal and communication skills.Learning agility and ability to manage multiple stakeholdersDesirable requirements:
• Bachelor's / master's degree/other advanced degree in Lifesciences or Pharmaceutical sciences & MBA degree is preferred
• Previous knowledge and experience of pharma / life sciences industry is preferred.
