Senior Data Engineer (Architecture & Implementation) - Team Lead

Scope of Work

• Lead technical architecture decisions for data platform modernization.
• Plan and execute refactoring of core data pipelines from timer-based to event-driven orchestration.
• Implement subscription schema alignment between Chargebee and Shopify/Recharge.
• Collaborate with internal Data Engineers to improve platform scalability and performance.
• Define and enforce naming conventions, coding standards, and best practices.

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Expert-level Python programming skills.
• Deep hands-on experience with
  dbt
  .
• Proficiency with ELT tools (
  Meltano, Airbyte, or dltHub
  ).
• Strong SQL and database design expertise.
• Experience with
  Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer)
  .
• Proficient in Git/GitHub for version control.
• Experience with API integrations and building custom connectors.
• Knowledge of
  dimensional modeling
  and
  Kimball methodology
  .

Analytics Engineer - Data Focus

Scope of Work

• Build and optimize
  dbt models
  following industry best practices.
• Implement robust data quality testing (minimum 80% coverage).
• Create mapping tables between legacy (Chargebee) and new systems.
• Develop
  Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD)
  tables.
• Build aggregate tables and establish data quality monitoring frameworks.
• Implement incremental loading strategies for efficiency.
• Partner closely with the Senior Data Engineer on technical implementations.

Technical Requirements -

• 3+ years of Analytics Engineering experience.
• Advanced
  dbt
  expertise (models, tests, macros, documentation).
• Strong SQL skills with proven performance optimization capabilities.
• Experience with
  data quality frameworks and testing methodologies
  .
• Understanding of
  dimensional modeling
  .
• Proficient with Git/GitHub.
• Experience working with
  BigQuery
  .
• Python skills for implementing custom data quality checks.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with
  Great Expectations
  or similar data quality tools.
• Subscription/recurring revenue data experience.

Analytics Engineer - Business Focus

Scope of Work

• Develop
  Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
  models.
• Conduct cohort analysis and build
  retention analytics
  .
• Create
  Gross Margin (GM2)
  models that reconcile with finance.
• Implement
  Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  calculations.
• Build a
  single customer view
  integrating multiple data sources.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver analytics insights.

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of Analytics Engineering or Business Analytics experience.
• Strong SQL and
  dbt
  proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with financial and customer analytics.
• Understanding of
  e-commerce metrics
  (LTV, CAC, retention, margin).
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with
  BigQuery

• Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) analytics experience.

BI Developer + Documentation Specialist

Scope of Work

• Develop
  interactive dashboards
  in Holistics.
• Create semantic layers and data models for
  self-service analytics
  .
• Build department-specific
  data marts
  (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).
• Potentially implement
  Power BI dashboards
  for FP&A use cases.
• Document all data models, pipelines, and dashboards comprehensively.
• Prepare user guides and training materials with a business-oriented focus.
• Maintain a centralized
  data dictionary
  and technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of BI Development experience.
• Proficiency in
  Holistics
  .
• Strong SQL skills for creating views and data marts.
• Experience with
  semantic layer development
  .
• Familiarity with subscription/cohort visualization patterns.
• Strong data storytelling and dashboard design expertise.
• Proven technical writing and documentation skills.
• Understanding of
  dashboard UX best practices

• Basic Git knowledge.
