Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Delphi-Pascal Developer to lead a small team supporting and maintaining a mission-critical legacy business application for our US-based client.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Delphi (Object Pascal), strong leadership capabilities, and experience in client communication, requirement gathering, and delivery management.

You will serve as the technical lead and primary client contact, responsible for understanding requirements, guiding developers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining system stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a small team of Delphi/Pascal developers.

- Act as the primary liaison with US clients understand requirements, communicate progress, and ensure expectations are met.

- Plan and manage development activities to ensure on-time delivery.

- Review and enhance existing Delphi/Pascal codebases for performance and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in legacy systems.

- Guide modernization or migration efforts where applicable.

- Collaborate with QA, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

- Document technical processes, architecture changes, and improvement plans.

- Ensure code quality through peer reviews and best practice implementation.

Qualifications :

- 12+ years of professional experience in Delphi (Object Pascal) development.

- Proven experience in leading projects or small technical teams.

- Strong understanding of Pascal language fundamentals and Delphi IDE.

- Experience working with US clients or in global delivery environments.

- Hands-on experience in legacy system maintenance and performance optimization.

- Familiarity with databases like SQL Server, InterBase, Firebird, or Oracle.

- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have Skills :

- Experience in modernization or migration of legacy Delphi applications.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).

- Knowledge of Windows API, COM, or REST/HTTP integration.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Domain experience in manufacturing, logistics, or finance systems (if relevant).
