The Civil Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all civil works at the project site are executed in compliance with design specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements. The role includes quality planning, site inspections, testing coordination, documentation, and the implementation of quality control systems to maintain high construction standards.

  • Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for civil works.
  • Monitor and inspect ongoing civil activities such as earthworks, concreting, steel reinforcement, formwork, and structural installations.
  • Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with project specifications, drawings, and approved standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, BS, IS).
  • Review and approve civil method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and coordinate with site supervisors, consultants, and contractors to rectify quality issues.
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, material submittals, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Liaise with third-party testing laboratories for field and lab tests such as soil compaction, concrete compressive strength, slump tests, etc.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and ensure proper implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for client or consultant inspections.
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month
