Community Manager

At Jitin Chawla's Centre for Career Development, we don't just counsel students-we build lifelong communities of students, parents, and mentors. With 25 years of trust behind us and thousands of students placed in top universities across the globe, we now want to strengthen our ecosystem by creating a vibrant community that connects current students, alumni, and parents.

For this, we are looking for a
Community Manager

who will take ownership of building, nurturing, and activating this network.

What the Role Involves

  • Alumni & Parent Relations:

Maintain ongoing relationships with past parents and students. Regular check-ins, appreciation, and recognition that keep them connected to us and open to referrals.
- Referral Network:

Design and execute initiatives that encourage alumni families to refer new students—events, recognition programs, and structured communication.
- Student Engagement:

Keep our current student community buzzing with activities, updates, and collaborations, ensuring no student feels "lost."
- Storytelling & Content:

Capture success stories, testimonials, and journeys from our students and families. Work with the team to publish these across newsletters, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and events.
- Events & Activities:

Organize alumni meetups, online sessions, student showcases, and parent panels that bring value and strengthen our community.
- Feedback & Insights:

Be the ears of the organisation—understand what parents and students feel, and bring that insight to leadership for continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people, remembers details, and builds trust effortlessly.
  • Background in
    community building, engagement, or client relations

preferred, but more important is attitude and empathy.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English (and Hindi a plus).
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple conversations and initiatives at once.
