Role Overview

As a Senior Platform Engineer at NCG, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and enhancing Identity & Access Management (IAM) controls and engineering patterns. This role focuses on analysing business and IT requirements to identify opportunities that strengthen operational efficiency, security posture, and control management.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and engineering squads to design and implement scalable IAM solutions that align with organisational policies and risk mitigation strategies. Your expertise will directly support enterprise security objectives and help drive best-in-class IAM capabilities within the BFSI domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify business needs, risks, and technology gaps, and define feasible IAM solution scopes.
• Provide expert guidance on IAM and PAM controls aligned with business and technical onboarding services and role lifecycle management.
• Design IAM solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements (security, scalability, performance).
• Develop and maintain code, configurations, scripts, and automated tests to deliver IAM functionality.
• Perform peer design and code reviews for IAM engineers to maintain engineering standards and quality.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve defects related to environments, configurations, and deployments across development, testing, and production.
• Follow structured release and change management processes for software builds and deployments.
• Identify, document, and eliminate technical debt, improving code quality and process efficiency.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:

• System and solution designs

• Deployment and configuration guides

• Test scripts and user manuals

• Ensure seamless integration with platforms and solutions delivered by other internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1215 years of overall experience with at least 8+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk, Active Directory, or equivalent PAM/IAM tools.

• Solid application development experience using:

• PowerShell scripting

• Java
• CyberArk APIs and configurations

• SQL / T-SQL / PL-SQL / JSON

• Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise systems such as:

• ServiceNow

• SailPoint

• Ping Identity

• Proven experience onboarding and integrating enterprise applications with IAM/PAM platforms (especially CyberArk).

DevSecOps & Platform Engineering

• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD tools, including:

• GitHub Actions

• TeamCity
• Artifactory

• Octopus Deploy

• Strong understanding of secure SDLC practices and automation.

• Experience designing and implementing data conversions, data loads, and data maintenance processes.

Additional Skills

• Exposure to AI technologies and their application within IAM or security platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with relevant programming languages, frameworks, libraries, tools, and security protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications are desirable.
