Job Description:

Seeking a seasoned R&D leader to drive innovation, process optimization, and new product development in chlor-alkali production (Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Hydrogen, etc.). The role involves leading research projects, developing advanced materials, optimizing electrochemical processes, and implementing sustainable and cost-effective technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead R&D initiatives for process improvement, cost reduction, and product innovation.
  • Optimize electrolysis, chlorine, and hydrogen recovery processes.
  • Drive import substitution and scale-up of lab findings to plant level.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance.
  • Guide a multidisciplinary R&D team and foster external collaborations.
  • Develop energy-efficient and eco-friendly processes.
  • Manage patents, publications, and technical documentation.

Desired Profile:

  • Strong background in chlor-alkali / electrochemical processes.
  • Expertise in organic & inorganic chemistry.
  • Proven leadership, innovation, and project management skills.
  • Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
