Key Role

As a
Web Developer Intern
, you will work closely with our development and design teams to create, maintain, and optimize websites and web applications for Techtail's diverse client base. You will gain hands-on experience in
WordPress, Shopify, JavaScript, and the MERN stack
, while contributing to live client projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites on
    WordPress and Shopify
    .
  • Support in building dynamic and scalable web applications using
    JavaScript
    and the
    MERN stack (MongoDB, , , )
    .
  • Implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations on WordPress and Shopify.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in
    JavaScript
    .
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to deliver pixel-perfect, SEO-friendly websites.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize website performance across multiple devices and browsers.
  • Stay updated with the latest
    JavaScript frameworks
    , web technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements for user experience (UX) and interface (UI).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in
    Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    WordPress, Shopify, JavaScript, and the MERN stack
    .
  • Proficiency in
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP
    , and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and database management.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Passion for coding, web technologies, and eagerness to learn.
