QA Automation Engineer

As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product suite through thoughtful automation and testing strategies.

The role will be hybrid with at least 2 days per week working from our office based in Mumbai in the Goregaon area.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers in an Agile team to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration tests to validate product features.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with the team to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

A QA Automation Engineer with a genuine passion for quality, and:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience as QA Engineer
• Proven work experience in web-based and/or mobile based quality assurance best practices
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. JMeter, Selenium)
• Scripting skills in Bash, JavaScript, or NodeJS
• Familiarity with APIs, webservices, and webpages testing
• Ability to write and maintain clear, structured test plans and test cases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their role in testing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for learning and improving testing processes
• Bonus: Experience with High Traffic Public Web Sites, security testing, scalability and performance challenges of server-side code, knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker or any container orchestration
