Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our DevOps/Platform team. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You should have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, NGINX, Dynatrace, and Linux-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure using GCP.
  • Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
  • Deploy and manage web traffic routing using NGINX.
  • Monitor and optimize performance using Dynatrace and other observability tools.
  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and disaster recovery for production environments.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to align infrastructure with application and compliance needs.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance on Linux servers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Containerization: Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible for provisioning and configuration.
  • Web Servers/Load Balancers: Deep knowledge of NGINX.
  • Monitoring: Familiarity with Dynatrace for APM and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Operating Systems: Proficient in Linux system administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
  • Scripting: Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or similar languages.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git and GitOps practices.
