Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - ITSM/IAM/HAM/Asset managment/SCCM

Responsibilities

•    Strategic Leadership:
o    Lead the overall infrastructure strategy for data centers and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
o    Develop and implement policies, standards, and best practices for infrastructure reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

•    Team Management:
o    Manage and mentor cross-functional teams across Cloud, Backup, Storage, Network, Linux and IT Service Management domains.
o    Oversee resource planning, performance management, and capability building within the infrastructure organization.

•    Operational Excellence:
o    Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure and cloud services.
o    Drive continuous improvement through automation, observability, and proactive monitoring.
o    Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.

•    Cloud & Data Center Management:
o    Manage hybrid environments integrating on-prem data centers with public/private cloud infrastructure.
o    Optimize costs and performance across infrastructure platforms.
o    Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business goals.

•    Governance & IT Service Management:
o    Implement ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management).
o    Drive compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
o    Partner with stakeholders to ensure SLA adherence and service quality.

•    Observability & Tooling:
o    Lead implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to enable proactive infrastructure management.
o    Ensure end-to-end visibility and performance tracking across systems.

Required Skills & Experience

•    Hands-on experience managing data centers, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), backup and storage tools, and network operations.

•    Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and modern observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk).

•    Proven experience in team leadership, vendor management, and infrastructure transformation projects.

•    Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
AWS/Azure/Storage/ITIL/DBA/VMware/AD/Linux
