Role Purpose

To lead and architect the sales strategy for BuildNext in Coimbatore and surrounding markets — capturing high-value custom home design+build projects, engaging with land / plot owners, architects, real-estate brokers, and driving revenue growth by positioning BuildNext as the premium one-stop solution for custom homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales & business-development plan for Coimbatore region: set targets for leads, conversions, revenue (design + build).
  • Identify and qualify high-value prospects: plot owners, land developers, affluent homeowners seeking custom homes, architectural firms.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: discovery → presenting BuildNext value proposition (VR experiences, technology transparency, cost/time/quality guarantees) → proposal/quotation → closure → hand-over hand-off to design/operations.
  • Partner with the in-house architect & design team to ensure alignment of sales promise with design viability, site specifications and BuildNext's Building Performance Index (BPI) standards. BuildNext
  • Leverage the Coimbatore Experience Centre: create demo engagements (VR walkthroughs, sample material selection), host events for prospective clients, architects and referral partners.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local stakeholders: real-estate brokers, land agents, architectural practices, financial advisors, local contractor networks (for referrals).
  • Monitor market intelligence: pricing trends, plot sizes, zoning/regulation changes, competitor custom-home builders in Coimbatore; feed insights into strategy.
  • Work closely with marketing to generate qualified leads, run seminars/workshops, website/VR content specific to the Coimbatore region.
  • Achieve individual sales quotas and contribute to team targets; track KPIs (lead to conversion ratio, average project value, time-to-close, margin, referral pipeline).
  • Represent BuildNext at local industry events, seminars, trade shows relevant to custom homes/construction in Tamil Nadu.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5-10yrs (or more) of sales/business development experience in the residential custom-home, high-end construction, luxury home-builder or architectural consultancy segment — ideally in Tamil Nadu or South India.
  • Must be B.Arch graduate
  • Strong network in Coimbatore region: plot/land owners, brokers, architects, interior designers, real‐estate developers.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills: ability to explain technical/architectural value (e.g., VR walkthrough, design efficiency, BPI) to non-technical clients.
  • Fluency in English and Tamil; familiarity with local market/regulation in Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu.
  • Willingness to travel locally (site visits, client meetings), host events.
