Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team. The role is ideal for someone who has basic accounting knowledge, is comfortable working with Tally and Excel, and understands fundamental debit-credit concepts. You will work closely with our finance manager to support daily accounting operations, maintain records, and assist in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including voucher entries, ledger posting, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and update accounting records in Tally.
- Work with Excel/Google Sheets for preparing and updating financial reports.
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Ensure accurate classification of debits and credits in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help in preparing data for audits.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and debit-credit rules.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (basic formulas, pivot tables preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
