Role Overview

The Data Entry Operator cum Telecaller will play a crucial support role under the RAMP scheme to assist MSMEs and artisans in applying for various subsidy and incentive schemes under the One District One Product (ODOP) and MSME Policy. The role involves managing telephonic outreach, guiding applicants, collecting and entering accurate data, and ensuring timely submission of complete and verified subsidy applications through the prescribed government portal or offline formats.

Key Responsibilities

A. Data Entry and Documentation

Enter MSME/ODOP beneficiary details, application data, and supporting documents accurately into digital portals and tracking systems.

Maintain databases of registered MSMEs, application status, and follow-ups.

Ensure all uploaded or entered data aligns with prescribed formats under the RAMP scheme.

Digitize and organize hardcopy forms and supporting documents for internal and departmental records.

B. Telecalling and Outreach

Contact MSMEs, artisans, and entrepreneurs to inform them about subsidy schemes available under ODOP and MSME Policy.

Explain eligibility criteria, required documents, and application process in clear and simple terms.

Assist beneficiaries telephonically to complete application forms or upload required documents.

Schedule and coordinate field visits or verification calls as required by the project.

Record and report daily call logs, responses, and follow-up outcomes.

C. Coordination and Reporting

Coordinate with field teams, district industry center officials, and mentors to ensure complete and verified application data.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on calls made, data entered, and applications filed.

Flag incomplete or inconsistent applications to the supervisor for corrective action.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in data entry, telecalling, or administrative support roles — preferably in government projects.

Technical Skills:

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets, MIS portals, data entry software).

Good typing speed (minimum 35 WPM preferred).

Familiarity with government portals (Udyam, MSME, subsidy or registration portals) will be an advantage.

Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi and English.

Key Competencies

Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Ability to manage repetitive administrative tasks efficiently.

Empathy and patience while interacting with MSMEs and artisans.

Integrity and confidentiality in handling beneficiary information.

Performance Indicators

Number of successful outreach calls made per week.

Number of verified subsidy applications submitted.

Accuracy and timeliness of data entered into the portal.

Beneficiary satisfaction and responsiveness during follow-ups.

Adherence to reporting and documentation standards.
