Role & responsibilities

• Treat patients and perform clinical procedures as per the clinical privileges authorized
• Managing OPD, IPD & Emergencies patients.
• Doing the medical procedure as per the guidelines /advice after getting the consent from patients attendant.
• Accompany doctors on IPD Ward visits.
• Monitoring the progress of the patients.
• To ensure that all the patients are receiving appropriate Medical Care.
• Check the diet chart, medicine chart, vitals chart frequently.
• Maintaining good relationship with staff, patients and their attendants
• To ensure that patient's condition is communicated correctly to the relatives and all their queries are answered appropriately
• Reporting to the duty in time as per the roster
• Strictly adhering to the medical ethics & management rules & regulations.
• To work collectively with the Nursing In charge to bring about quality improvement in the department.
• To ascertain the strict implementation of various working protocols like BLS, ACLS and infection control
• Attending the training programmes and CMEs as and when required
• Ensure the medical records are complete as per SOP
