Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CATIA V5/V6 custom applications using CAA RADE (C++/COM-based APIs).
  • Customize CATIA workbenches and automate design workflows.
  • Integrate CATIA with PLM systems (e.g., ENOVIA, Teamcenter).
  • Collaborate with design engineers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Debug, test, and document developed applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical support and enhancements for existing CATIA CAA applications.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in C++, COM, and CAA RADE toolset.
  • Strong understanding of CATIA V5/V6 architecture and data model.
  • Experience with CATIA automation using VBA or CATScript is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems like ENOVIA or 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Knowledge of CAD data management and lifecycle processes.
