Mechanical Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine design calculations (shear stress, bending stress, etc.).
  • Implement rapid prototyping techniques (3D printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Routing).
  • Use CAD tools (Fusion 360, Solidworks) for product design.
  • Coordinate with suppliers during manufacturing process release.
  • Compile construction documents (3D models, drawings, BOM, etc.).
  • Conduct FMEA analysis for product evaluation.
  • Perform product testing for specific customer requirements.
  • Design and release production orders (production BOM).
  • Lead and execute product improvement projects.
  • Generate and oversee new product ideas and designs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and partners for product development.
  • Manage streamlined product launches and documentation.

Additional Qualification and Skills:

  • Expertise in machine design calculations (shear stress, bending stress).
  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping methods (3D printing, CNC Routing).
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools (Fusion 360, Solidworks).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier coordination.
  • Experience in product documentation (models, BOM, drawings).
  • Familiarity with DFMEA and product testing.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to generate innovative product ideas.
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-department work.
  • Willingness to learn new product design and manufacturing techniques.
