Job Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Apple Hospital, Indore
Department: Nephrology / Dialysis Unit
Reports To: Dialysis Unit In-Charge / Nephrologist
Job Summary:
The Dialysis Technician is responsible for performing dialysis procedures on patients with renal failure under the supervision of a nephrologist or senior medical staff. This role ensures patient safety, proper operation and maintenance of dialysis equipment, and adherence to infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor hemodialysis machines according to prescribed protocols.
- Prepare patients for dialysis, including monitoring vital signs and checking vascular access.
- Observe patients during dialysis for adverse reactions and report concerns immediately to the nephrologist or nurse.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and disinfection of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including dialysis sessions, vital signs, and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety guidelines.
- Educate patients and caregivers on dialysis procedures, diet, and lifestyle management.
- Assist in emergencies such as hypotension, clotting, or other dialysis-related complications.
- Coordinate with the medical team for scheduling, treatment plans, and patient care follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Certificate in Dialysis Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Valid certification as a Dialysis Technician (if applicable).
- Knowledge of hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and associated equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, patient care orientation, and ability to handle emergencies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in dialysis units preferred; freshers may be considered with relevant training.
Work Environment:
- Hospital or clinic setting with shift-based work, including day and night rotations.

Pay: ₹10, ₹25,000.00 per month
