Role Overview:

As a Makerspace Assistant Teacher, you'll work closely with the lead facilitator to support students in STEM, robotics, design thinking, and creative building projects. You'll help maintain the space, assist during classes, and encourage students to turn their ideas into real-world creations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and conducting engaging makerspace sessions
• Support students in hands-on projects involving robotics, coding, or design
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are organized and safe
• Encourage curiosity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in students
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate makerspace learning into classroom topics

Requirements:

• Graduate with background/interest in Science, Engineering, or Design
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for experiential learning and working with children
• Basic knowledge of robotics, Arduino, or design software (preferred but not mandatory)
