Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet clients to understand design preferences, functional needs, and budget.
  • Create conceptual layouts, mood boards, and 2D/3D designs using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Suggest appropriate materials, finishes, and color schemes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.
  • Stay updated with design trends, innovations, and market offerings.
  • Ensure designs comply with safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree/diploma in Interior Design or related field.
  • Strong creative and spatial design skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop).
  • Good knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
