Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune for the role of Jr Software Engineer (CAD Developer). The primary responsibilities include contributing to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge CAD software solutions, writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented programming practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements. The candidate will also be involved in debugging, testing, and optimizing software performance, as well as assisting with back-end development processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop desktop .NET applications for CAD data interoperability solutions
  • Build plugins and extensions for multiple AEC and MEP CAD applications
  • Work with various CAD APIs (Revit, Tekla, and other industry-standard tools) to enable seamless data exchange
  • Develop solutions for data interoperability challenges between different CAD platforms

Required skills & Qualifications

Candidates with less than 1 year or maximum 2 year relevant experience.

Essential Requirements

1- Programming Proficiency

  • Strong proficiency in C# development
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience with .NET Framework (preferably .NET Framework 4.8 or higher)

2- Desktop Application Development

  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge in desktop .NET application development
  • Understanding of Windows Forms, WPF, or similar desktop UI frameworks

3- CAD Development Knowledge

  • Ability to work with multiple CAD APIs and adapt to different CAD platforms
  • Interest in or experience building plugins/extensions for AEC and MEP CAD applications

4 - Problem-Solving & Adaptability

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and work with new CAD software and APIs quickly
  • Attention to detail and commitment to code quality

Educational Background

Option 1 (Preferred):

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
    with strong C# development knowledge

Option 2:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering / Computer Science
    (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc)
  • Knowledge about CAD software development

    : Desktop application patterns, Event handling, Memory management basics
