  • Production Oversight:
    • Leading daily operations in the foundry, including scheduling, monitoring production flow, and ensuring timely delivery of finished castings. 
       
    • Managing the melt, molding, and heat treatment departments, optimizing process parameters for quality and efficiency. 
       
    • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce scrap rates. 
       



  • Quality Control:
    • Implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control systems to ensure all castings meet customer specifications and industry standards. 
       
    • Analyzing quality data to identify issues and implement corrective actions 
       
    • Monitoring and managing scrap rates, taking corrective measures when necessary 
       



  • Team Management:
    • Supervising and training foundry workers across different departments, including mold makers, melters, and inspectors 
       
    • Motivating and developing the team to achieve production goals and safety standards 
       
    • Addressing performance issues and providing necessary coaching 
       



  • Cost Management:
    • Managing inventory levels of raw materials and consumables to minimize costs 
       
    • Analyzing production costs and identifying areas for cost reduction 
       
    • Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy-saving measures 
       



  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the foundry 
       
    • Investigating safety incidents and implementing preventive measures 
       
    • Maintaining compliance with environmental regulations
