Senior Structural Design Engineer

The Senior Structural Design Manager will oversee all aspects of structural design projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of structural engineering, project management, and the ability to guide a team of engineers. You will work closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to deliver top-tier engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
• Oversee the structural design process, ensuring all designs are technically sound, innovative, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.
• Provide guidance to junior and mid-level engineers on complex design issues and project challenges.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple structural design projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure that designs align with project goals and client expectations.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering exercises, and risk assessments to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Design Oversight:
• Lead the structural design of complex buildings and infrastructure projects, including high-rise buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and special structures.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction.
• Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., Eurocodes, AISC, BS, IS Codes).
• Client Relations:
• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in design output.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to continually improve the firm's structural design capabilities.
• Promote the use of sustainable and innovative design practices in all projects.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical engineers, MEP engineers, and construction teams, to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and communicate design intent to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2- 5 years of experience in structural design, with a strong background in consultancy environments.
• Proven experience in managing and leading structural engineering teams.
• Extensive knowledge of structural analysis and design software
• Deep understanding of structural engineering principles, materials, and building codes (e.g., IS Codes, Eurocodes, AISC, ACI etc).
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
