At Novonesis, Global Procurement plays a key role in enabling a sustainable, resilient, and efficient supply chain across our global footprint. As part of the Global Procurement Excellence team, you will be at the heart of our mission to unlock insights how procurement processes can be conducted in the most efficient and effective way while ensuring compliance and sustainability.

This position will focus on leading a high-performing team in Bangalore, India to support global procurement excellence strategies while fostering collaboration across regions and functions.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Responsible for management, coaching and development of a highly experienced and collaborative team in India in close collaboration and alignment with the Global Head of Procurement Excellence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Global Procurement organization, Procurement Operations and Digitalization teams. By collaborating together fostering alignment on objectives and ensuring that key priorities are met.

• Proposes the design and implementation of process standardization, harmonization and improvements to support the vision and strategic direction of procurement excellence.

• Support data driven culture and ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated, and consistent procurement data and monitoring of procurement performance and compliance.

• Responsible for the development and management of supporting documentation, policies, guidance to ensure an efficient way of working as well as transparency.

• Leading change management and training efforts globally, ensuring the successful adoption of procurement standards and tools across the organization.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Master's degree within business administration, engineering, IT and digitalization, supply chain, economics or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in procurement with at least 2 years of professional experience in compliance and/or risk management - preferably from large, complex, and global organizations.

• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

• Strong understanding of source-to-pay (S2P), indirect and direct procurement, contract lifecycle management as well as eProcurement processes.

• Proven track record of driving procurement transformation, process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

• Solid analytical, fact based, strong conceptual skills with strengths in designing and implementing effective processes at a global level as well as proficiency in data analysis.

• Service oriented with a strong ability to challenge, influence and align across functions and seniority levels.

• Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and the courage to drive decisions, not just facilitate them.
