Role Description

• The Business Analyst covers the analysis phase of a change initiative project that is targeted to design a target operating model on business processes, its required governance and management design to ensure improvements are realized in a robust and controlled environment.
• This includes analytical aspects outside the impacted area or team to ensure target design are aligned front to back.

Your key responsibilities

• Define complex process and identify problem areas to work on a solution in partnership with architects, developers, and business users
• Design and conceptualize business solution options and articulate underlying impact analysis
• Effective communication upwards with experience on the production of management decks
• Actively supports the business strategy, plans, and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
• Support the project manager as a Business Analyst to ensure that projects are on track based on business requirements

Your skills and experience

• Mandatory Payment Industry Experience of minimum 2-6 years. Work Experience in Payments Team within a Bank will also be considered ·
• Deep knowledge in financial services offering, including e.g. Finance, Risk and Compliance, Core Banking etc 
• Hands on experience on support/operations/implementation of digital Wallets, PG integration and overall digital Payment ecosystem
• Sound Knowledge in SDLC, Payment Application and Integration.
• Understanding of Solution Architecture and Technology Architecture / Business Architecture will definitely be a plus
• Understanding on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs.
• Basic knowledge of one or more end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches of software development and conversion methodologies.
• Detailed understanding of India Stack digital payment products like IMPS/UPI/BBPS and ability to apply innovative use-cases across Bank business lines.
• Understanding of overall card processing mechanism and the underlying card security and compliance
• Understanding on overall Digital Payments security and compliance
• Experience and knowledge of analysis methods, tools and techniques, Business Analysis Life cycle, Writing BRDs, FRDs, Process Flows creation, User Stories etc.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders (Operations, Technology, Project Team etc.)
• Excellent partnership with business/technology
• Demonstrable focus on delivery/execution and problem solving
• High attention to detail and ability to stay organized despite multiple demands
• Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks. Project management/PMO experience would be preferred
• Excellent proven communication and documentation/presentation skills
• Ability to identify and escalate problems at an early stage
• Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations
• Fluent in English (written/verbal)

Good to have skills:

• Understanding of PCI/DSS compliance and its implementation · - Knowledge of Functional areas like SEPA, SWIFT Processing, Clearing systems (e.g. RTGS CHAPS /FED/NACHA etc.), Reconciliation and Investigations
• Understanding Retail banking or wealth and asset management will definitely be a plus
• Having exposure of International and Domestic Payments, Messaging and Flow (RTGS, NEFT, NACH, SWIFT, ISO
• Prior experience with Fintech companies or Banks in terms of overall implementation experience will help
