Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, ETL Tester

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive ETL test plans, test cases, and scripts to verify data transformation and migration processes.

Perform data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and integrity during ETL operations.

Implement and maintain ETL test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and optimize ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Identify, report, and track defects, and work closely with development and data engineering teams to resolve issues.

Collaborate with data governance teams to enforce data quality standards and best practices.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ETL testers and team members.

Stay uptodate with ETL testing best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to drive process improvements.

Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders and management.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

BE/B Tech/MCA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Relevant years of Software Quality Assurance experience on enterprise level applications which includes Data Warehouse Testing.

Experience in writing complex SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered.

Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects.

Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.

Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques. Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.

QA Automation Test tools expertise in Selenium, Test Ng, Cucumber, Appium, etc. Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.

Possess experience in using Informatica suite of tools. Must have Talend Open Studio Experience

Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.

Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment.

Must be able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.
