Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Developing features, improvements, and new functionality with minimal guidance or support from other team members as well as collaborating with the team on larger projects.
  • Developing features and improvements to products that is secure, performant and well-tested
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

· Taking the lead in self-development by staying abreast of industry trends and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues

· Define systems integrations, design patterns and development standards to support cross-functional, multi-system solutions that scale and are flexible to meet current and future needs of the organization.

  • Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, or third-party services into mobile applications.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
  • Stay updated on React Native updates, mobile development trends, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, and React Native framework.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating third-party libraries/services.
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Experience with native build tools like Xcode and Android Studio.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
  • Passionate about development and in touch with emerging frameworks and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes (e.g., Fastlane).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) or push notifications.
  • Experience with modern frontend tools like Webpack, Vite, or Metro bundler.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards for mobile applications.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
