e are looking for an experienced
SAP MM Consultant
with 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Materials Management module. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, master data, and integration with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FI). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and providing technical/functional support.

Key Responsibilities1. SAP MM Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure and customize SAP MM modules including
    Procurement, Inventory Management, LIV (Logistics Invoice Verification)
    , and
    Material Master
    .
  • Implement end-to-end
    Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    business processes.
  • Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and enhancement projects.

2. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

  • Work with business teams to gather functional requirements.
  • Map business processes to SAP MM solutions and prepare functional specifications.
  • Design and deliver scalable and efficient SAP MM solutions.

3. Integration & Cross-Functional Work

  • Collaborate with SAP FI, PP, SD, WM/EWM teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Handle master data dependencies (Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records).

4. Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP MM.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to purchase orders, GR/IR, pricing, inventory discrepancies, and invoice verification.
  • Work with technical teams for debugging and enhancements (ABAP).

5. Documentation & Testing

  • Prepare
    functional specifications
    , test scripts, and user training documents.
  • Conduct
    unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
    .

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Purchasing (PR, PO, RFQ, contracts)
  • Inventory Management (GR, GI, stock transfers, cycle counting)
  • Pricing procedure & release strategies
  • Invoice Verification
  • Good understanding of:
  • SAP MM Master Data (Material, Vendor, PIR)
  • Batch management, serial numbers
  • Automatic Account Determination (OBYC)
  • Knowledge of
    IDocs, interfaces, EDI
    (preferred).

Functional & Domain Skills

  • Good understanding of end-to-end
    P2P processes
    .
  • Experience in at least
    1–2 full cycle SAP implementation projects
    .
  • Exposure to S/4HANA environment (preferred).
