Role Description:
We're looking for a
Marketing & Social Media Manager – Digital & Social Media
with
1–2 years
of hands-on experience to own and grow our digital presence. This role is ideal for someone who's already executed social media and digital campaigns and is now ready to take end-to-end ownership — from strategy to execution to performance tracking.
You'll manage Designcapital's social channels, support client marketing initiatives, plan campaigns, analyze performance, and collaborate closely with design, product, and strategy teams. This is a hands-on manager role, not just coordination or posting.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Ownership
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels.
- Translate business goals into clear digital marketing strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Own campaign timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Build and manage
platform-specific strategies
for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), YouTube, and emerging platforms. - Own the
social media calendar
, ensuring consistent, high-quality brand storytelling. - Create and oversee content ideas that align with design-led thinking, product narratives, and industry trends.
- Actively experiment with new formats (Reels, carousels, short videos, thought-leadership posts).
Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance using tools like
Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Analytics
, etc. - Analyze reach, engagement, conversions, and campaign ROI.
- Share clear insights and actionable recommendations with internal teams and leadership.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with designers, product teams, and strategists to align marketing with product and business goals.
- Brief designers with clear content and campaign requirements.
- If needed, Guide junior team members or interns on execution, quality, and best practices.
- Act as the point of contact for social and digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Proven experience running social media or digital campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, audience engagement, and content performance.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, Meta/Google/paid ads, and content marketing fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain performance insights and ideas.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor's degree/Master Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience handling both brand and client-facing marketing.
- Exposure to influencer collaborations or community-driven content.
- Basic design or content skills using Canva or Adobe tools.
- Early leadership experience — mentoring interns or owning small projects.
