We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer with hands-on experience in managing enterprise cloud platforms. The role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure while providing proactive incident management and operational support in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cloud infrastructure and services with minimal supervision, ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Monitor cloud environments using tools such as Azure Monitor and CloudWatch, responding to alerts and incidents proactively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with development and IT teams to minimize downtime.
  • Execute routine maintenance, patch updates, and implement security recommendations to maintain system integrity.
  • Conduct performance analysis, optimize resource utilization, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data and application availability.
  • Document operational procedures, incident reports, and technical processes.
  • Coordinate between L1 support and L2/L3 teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in daily/weekly meetings, working closely with product and cross-functional teams to deliver cloud infrastructure requirements.
  • Follow ITIL processes for ticketing, vendor management, and incident reporting.
  • Work effectively in 24x7 rotation shifts as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, IaaS, PaaS, VMs, networking, storage, and security.
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VNET, VPC, Subnet, Load Balancing, VNET peering, and VPN.
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as Azure Monitor and CloudWatch.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools, including ticketing and vendor management.
  • Availability to work in 24x7 rotation shifts.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Exposure to multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team collaboration.
