Job Description:

We are looking for professional CAD draftsman who creates accurate technical drawings and plans for various construction and manufacturing projects. They work closely with architects and engineers ensuring that their plans comply with industry standards and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems.
  • Performing 2D drafting using AutoCAD software in delivering Shop Drawing for Residential, facade / curtain wall projects
  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
  • Performing calculations related to materials and weight limitations.
  • Preparing Quotations to the specifications.
  • Communicating with architects and engineers, incorporating their knowledge into drawings.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team for preparation, review, and redrafting.
  • Ensuring final designs adhere to building regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to share opinions with appropriate personnel
  • Ability to seek and obtain information clarification and feedback about drawings and to discuss project challenges with appropriate departments
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills to ensure drawing specifications.
  • Ability to learn about technological advances from daily work activities, training offered by companies, and other educational/visual aids.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
