About the Role

TJL Dynamics is seeking a
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (who can join immediately or with less notice period)
with a passion for innovation and precision engineering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge industrial machinery and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using
    Autodesk Inventor
    and
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and prototyping.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations (e.g., torque, load, stress, thermal) to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software teams to integrate motors, servos, and sensors into mechanical systems.
  • Design and optimise
    conveyor systems
    , machine frames, and automation equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and revision control.
  • Conduct design reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
  • (Bonus) Perform
    FEA simulations
    to validate structural integrity and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in
    Autodesk Inventor
    and
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with
    motors, servos
    , and motion control systems.
  • Experience in
    conveyor design
    and
    machine design
    is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform basic engineering calculations independently.
  • Good english communication and documentation skills.
  • (Bonus) Experience with
    FEA tools
    like ANSYS or Inventor Nastran.
