Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Qualified Settlement Fund (QSF) transactions, ensuring zero discrepancies.
  • Track and manage cash inflow and outflow, ensuring accurate fund movement and preventing overpayments or financial loss.
  • Ensure claimant and vendor payments are processed within defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Respond to requests from the US team within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines (within 24 hours).
  • Update systems with claimant-level financial and transactional information.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports with 100% accuracy within stipulated timelines for law firms.
  • Perform bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional and inter-department teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Support administrative and operational tasks as required to meet business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in finance operations or data management (banking or reconciliation experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Charts, and Index functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analysis and interpretation.
