Keyrus is looking for experienced Senior Java Backend Developer (Microservices, Cloud Data Warehouse and ETL Pipelines) to join a strategic modernisation project for a global client. The developers need to work at our client's office in Pune for 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Java 8 backend services with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
  • Design, build, and deploy microservices on Kubernetes (AKS or equivalent).
  • Implement ETL pipelines using Airflow, Spring Batch, or Apache Camel.
  • Manage Snowflake pipelines, databases, and query optimization.
  • Integrate enterprise messaging solutions (Kafka or similar).
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to deploy and maintain services in Azure (adaptable to AWS/GCP).
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly.
  • Work in Agile scrum teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

Requirements

  • 5 years in Java development (Java 8 , J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA).
  • Strong in microservices, REST APIs, and Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Airflow/Spring Batch/Apache Camel).
  • Skilled in SQL (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL), Snowflake/Amazon RedShift/Google Bigquery/Azure Synapse Analytics, and NoSQL (Cosmos DB a plus).
  • Hands-on with Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Familiar with Kafka and CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
