Role & responsibilities

  • Define and maintain safety stock, reorder points, lead times, and inventory norms at the SKU-location level.
  • Ensure targeted fill rates are achieved while minimizing inventory holding days and working capital.
  • Monitor Stock on Hand (SOH) daily and take timely corrective actions to address variances.
  • Drive on-time Purchase Order (PO) creation and ensure seamless coordination across suppliers, warehouses, transportation, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Track, analyse, and act on slow-moving, non-moving, and near-expiry inventory to reduce losses.
  • Coordinate with warehouses for timely GRN processing, stock counts, and inventory adjustments.
  • Continuously assess inventory health and propose cost-effective planning models and replenishment strategies.
  • Liaise with New Product Development (NPD), transportation, warehouse, and order management teams for integrated planning and execution.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements for better inventory visibility, forecasting, and decision-makin

Experience & Background:

  • Bachelors or master's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or supply planning.
  • Experience in multi-location inventory management and working with cross-functional supply chain teams.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), inventory planning tools, and MS Excel/Analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices, planning models, and inventory optimization techniques.
