We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Data Engineer with a strong foundation in SQL and hands-on expertise in Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks, operating within Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to AI/ML technologies and be capable of integrating intelligent solutions into modern data platforms. This role is critical in building scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize complex SQL queries across Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms.

Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes in Azure.

Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models into data workflows and production environments.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security across cloud and hybrid data platforms.

Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in data systems and pipelines.

Automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using Azure Data Factory, Databricks notebooks, and other tools.

Document data architecture, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.

Strong SQL skills with experience in Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure DevOps.

Exposure to AI/ML workflows and integration into data platforms.

Experience with Spark (via Databricks) for large-scale data processing.

Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Python or Scala for data engineering and AI integration.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code in Azure.

Certifications in Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
