About the Organization

Atulya Foundation is a grassroots organization working towards holistic community development in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The foundation focuses on education, livelihood, health, and empowerment initiatives with a strong emphasis on capacity building, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Position Overview

The Programme Associate will support the Programme Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of various projects. The role involves close coordination with trainers, mobilizers, schools, community leaders, and government departments. The candidate will also assist in documentation, MIS maintenance, reporting, and organizing training sessions and community events.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with trainers, mobilizers, and community members for effective programme implementation.
  2. Liaise with school authorities for setting up and maintaining infrastructure.
  3. Coordinate with health centers and other local institutions for infrastructure and programme activities.
  4. Organize surveys, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and community consultations.
  5. Support vocational training and production-related livelihood initiatives.
  6. Manage and maintain beneficiary data, attendance records, and documentation.
  7. Prepare progress reports, case studies, and success stories as required.
  8. Develop and update Management Information System (MIS) regularly.
  9. Schedule training sessions and coordinate logistics with trainers and facilitators.
  10. Understand training modules and assist in ensuring smooth delivery and participation.
  11. Work closely with community groups to strengthen participation and engagement.
  12. Identify and facilitate linkages with relevant government schemes and entitlements.
  13. Coordinate with the head office and provide timely updates and reports.
  14. Support market linkages and explore business opportunities for livelihood initiatives.
  15. Organize workshops, meetings, and official visits as per project requirements.
  16. Represent the organization in local meetings, conferences, and events when required.
  17. Undertake any other responsibility assigned by the Programme Manager or organization leadership.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the social sector, preferably in livelihood, education, or community development projects.
  • Experience of working at the field/community level.
  • Good understanding of key social sector issues, government programmes, and entitlements.
  • Experience in coordination with NGOs, government officials, and community-based organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management tools.

Desired Competencies

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of agriculture, handicrafts, child rights, youth development, and women's empowerment programmes.
  • Understanding of community behavior, social norms, and behavioral change concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic project requirements.

Remuneration

Salary will be
