Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Designer located in Kanpur. The Assistant Designer will support the design team in creating innovative, functional, and appealing leather footwear and accessories. Daily tasks include developing design concepts, creating sketches, selecting materials, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring designs meet quality and aesthetic standards. Additionally, the role may involve market research and trend analysis to keep designs fresh and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
  • Creativity, artistic skills, and knowledge of design principles and material selection.
  • Understanding of leather product manufacturing processes including cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with design and production teams.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and market research experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and project management skills are essential.
